EHL supports breast cancer awareness month, with free consultations and screening

In support of the international breast cancer awareness month this October, EHL Management Services, which operates The City Hospital, Welcare Hospital and Welcare clinics, announced today that the clinics will be dedicating a weekend towards free breast cancer screening for women residents in the susceptible age range

The free breast cancer screening, is  in line with the international breast cancer awareness message that ‘prevention is better than cure’, and will include a consultation with a medical professional, breast screenings sonograms, and free education on awareness and prevention of the disease.

The consultations will be given on appointment basis only, starting from this week, and will be held , at the following locations:

Friday,16 October – Welcare Ambulatory Care Centre
Friday, 23 October – Welcare Clinic Mirdif
Friday, 30 October – Welcare Clinic Qusais and Emirates Diagnostic Clinic

In addition to the free consultations, Welcare Hospital and The City Hospital are offering a 10% discount on screening mammograms until 30 October 2009.
