The urology department at Welcare Hospital, Dubai is equipped with the latest urology equipment including, resectoscopes, ureteroscopes, nephroscopes, C-Arm image intensifier which is a mobile x-ray machine in the operating theatre needed for extraction of uretric and kidney stones through telescopes and Calcusplit which is one of the latest intracorporeal lithotripter to fragment the stones.
The department also includes paediatric cystocopes and resectoscopes whereby infants and children with congenital urethral obstruction can be operated without any surgical cuts.
