On 1st August 2007 Welcare Hospital, Dubai officially launched its 24hrs Advanced Life Support Ambulance Service and Control Room, the first 24hrs private emergency medical service response in the region. Utilizing modern vehicles, the latest equipment and internationally trained paramedics, the Ambulance Service provides emergency medical services that are unequaled in the private sector in Dubai.

Since its inception the Welcare Ambulance Service has grown expanding its operations to various areas within Dubai. The core business of the Ambulance Service has evolved over time to provide not only Emergency Medical Response but also the provision of highly specialized intensive care and neonatal intensive care transfers within Dubai.

Our operations have also grown to include a comprehensive emergency medical service solution for large events within the community such as major concerts and sporting events. Always aware of our community responsibility, the Ambulance Service supports community events by taking care of various charitable or fund raising events such as the Terry Fox Run and Safe & Sound Walkathon.

The Ambulance Service is also active in coordinating the ground transport for international air ambulance transfers to and from Dubai, with our ambulances being able to deliver patients to the aircraft door with the assistance of the Dubai International Airport authorities and Dubai International Airport Medical Center.
